SMX-x-PXV/2

BBH Products is expanding its SMX series with four variants for connecting barcode-based safe positioning systems. In addition to the SINCOS, TTL, HTL, resolver and SSI encoder interfaces, the new PXV variant provides a safe absolute positioning system based on a special barcode and single read head. The safe position and velocity data generated with it can be used for monitoring tasks up to SIL 3 (EN 61508) or category 4 PL e (EN ISO 13849).
In combination of the PXV position system with the integrated safety functions of the SMX series, a wide range of safety-related applications from the field of logistics and conveyor technology can be implemented easily and economically. The new variants are also optionally available with safe fieldbus interface for PROFISAFE / FSoE /CIP-Safety.
