Scaligera has increased the flexibility, speed and quality of its sausage sleevers through adaptive machine technology. Sausages in flexible packs are transferred via pucks to the shuttles of an intelligent track system that feeds two applicator heads in a space-saving inline configuration.

The sleever combines the speed of a continuous motion applicator, adjusting cycle rate to sleeve length, with the quality of intermittent motion, stopping the shuttles under the applicator heads for precise positioning. Empty pucks are skipped automatically.
