LEVEL SENSORS FOR SOLIDS

CAMLogic level switches for solids are specialised in the handling and dosing control of powders and granulates such as animal feed, flour, plastic granulates, lime, chipboard and other similar materials. 1.Rotating paddle level switches are easy to install and fully customizable, they are the most reliable rotary level gauges used for any type of solid materials. Rotary level sensors work by rotating a paddle that is locked once in contact with solid materials, signaling, thus, when the desired level is reached inside silos and storage bins.

2.Vibrating level indicators operate using a vibrating fork: when the material comes into contact with it, the vibration is dampened, , generating a level signal. They are used to prevent overfilling or dry running of equipment, helping ensure a safe and continuous production process.

3.Capacitive level sensors are instruments that detect the level of solid material through a proximity probe (at a variable distance based on the sensitivity set). CAMLogic's PFG06 is a capacitive level indicator based on the principle of detecting the electrical capacity of a capacitor. The capacitive level switch functions without moving mechanical parts. It is suitable for solid materials including food products. Moreover, it is easy to install in a vertical, horizontal or oblique position.

4.Membrane level sensors are instruments that detect the level of solid material thanks to a membrane and a microswitch. CAMLogic MN03 and MN21 are non-powered membrane level indicators with a robust and reliable aluminum case. They can easily installed in the desired position and guarantee an increased level of protection in the presence of potentially explosive dusts.
