Smart switches with galvanic isolation

Machines on automated factory floors often cause electrical disturbances. Strong electromagnetic fields, ground loops and other parasitic effects can damage sensitive microprocessors or bus ASICs.

Galvanic isolation is therefore essential to eliminate the disturbance caused by low voltage and high-speed digital ICs. Our new ISO8200AQ and ISO8200BQ drivers integrate galvanic isolation, saving both PCB space and design costs.

Evaluation
To evaluate the ISO8200AQ driver, run the STSW-IFAPGUI software on a PC connected by USB to the NUCLEO-F401RE Nucleo running the X-CUBE-OUT02A1 firmware.
